Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients to the dental office - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments - Manage patient records and update information in the system - Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims - Collect payments and provide patients with billing information - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in an administrative role is preferred - Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology is a plus - Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic is highly desirable - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities - Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
