We are hiring for our Kitting team, which is currently 2 people.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Someone looking for long-term steady work.
Mature personality.
Strong warehouse experience, previous kitting experience is a plus.
Must be able to focus on repetitive tasks in a QUIET environment.
Able to take direction from people of all ages and genders.
Comfortable on computers and learning new programs.
Spanish is a big plus! Warehouse Parts Processor duties will include:
Packaging parts following customer specifications.
Visually inspecting all parts for damage.
Properly applies appropriate protective packaging of all parts prior to packaging for shipment.
Properly counts and packs all parts to ensure no damage will occur during shipment due to improper and/or inadequate packaging.
Constructing all necessary wooden boxes, crates, or pallets necessary to ensure adequate protection for parts during shipment.
Moving completed items to proper processing or shipping areas.
Using computer software systems to update tracking progress (Microsoft Excel and AS400).
Maintaining a clean, orderly work space.
Completing all tasks assigned by supervisors.
Job Qualifications Previous warehouse experience.
Valid CA Driver License required.
Forklift experience is helpful, but we will train you on our machines.
Must be able to lift up to 50-75 pounds regularly.
Computer skills Detail-oriented and organized.
Team player, as well as able to work independently.
Problem solving skills.
Dependable to arrive on time for work every day, reliable transportation.
Able to focus on repetitive task at hand without being easily distracted.
