Job description PARCA, a non-profit serving individuals with developmental disabilities for over 60 years, is looking for a remarkable individual to join the team as a Contributions and Customer Service Supervisor.
This individual coordinates the efficient operation of the department through the direct supervision of the drivers and customer service.
Essential Functions of the Contributions and Customer Service Supervisor :
Manage the daily operation, including supervision of Drivers and Customer Service Monitor and resolve donor complaints, questions and suggestions Coordinate and monitor driver routes in the most efficient and cost-saving manner Provide assistance and direction to drivers as needed Accurate data entry of donor information into scheduling database Accurate data entry of delivery information into Non-Profit reporting database Act as a liaison with vendors as necessary Assist CSR with phone traffic as needed Coordinate special pick-ups including partnerships and clothing drives Maintain electronic waste log Open and/or close the business as necessary Maintain knowledge of Parca employment policies and the ability to apply them as it relates to subordinates and administration Consistently represent Parca in a professional manner and act as a representative of the organization in furthering its objectives.
Qualifications for the Contributions and Customer Service Supervisor Knowledge of the principles of staff supervision and development Excellent phone and email etiquette with effective verbal and written skills Ability to understand and adapt quickly to reservations & dispatch system Strong interpersonal skills, flexible, professional, and enthusiastic A positive problem-solving attitude Geographic knowledge of the Bay Area Scheduling and some dispatch experience is a plus Familiar with computer programs such as:
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Valid California driver's license High School diploma required or equivalent Schedule Details:
Employment hours are Monday through Friday 8 am-4:
30 pm in Hayward.
Some remote work available.
