JOB SUMMARY This is a part time nonexempt position based 100% onsite in Hayward, CA (Max 20 hours per week).
The Office / Human Resources Coordinator performs a variety of clerical/administrative tasks to support the Hayward office operations, inclusive of office supply management, coordinating meetings, and training logistics, filing/scanning of business-related documents.
The Incumbent will also support Human Resources directly with administrative task related to various Human Resources deliverables.
Daily assignments can also support a broad range of other functional areas, including purchasing, manufacturing, and other office-related functions.
This role will also support the planning and implementation of employee office events and recognition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate incoming and outgoing telephone, email, and postal distributions, as well as other forms of correspondence.
Track & replenish office supplies and implement new technologies to streamline office efficiencies while also reducing waste and redundancies to ensure effective office operations.
Maintain the company's e-board (and other internal communications) keeping employees informed and updated as to Delphon practices and employee activities.
Post organizational notices and facilitate communications at the local level as needed.
Routinely organize and file various training and operational documents.
Partner with Human Resources to develop, enhance, and contribute to the support and implementation of Human Resources tools, policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives.
Serve as an active member of Delphon's Employee Engagement Committee; provide and implement ideas on activities that shape culture and drive employee engagement.
Coordinate internal activities/meetings on a local level to support Hayward's logistical needs.
Consolidate internal continuous improvement (Bright Ideas) submissions and route them to the appropriate contacts.
Facilitate the collection and distribution of temporary employee timecards weekly.
Participate in the implementation of strategies to motivate and engage employees while educating managers and employees, as necessary, on systems, tools, website, reporting, and processes.
Prepare spreadsheets, presentations, and reports as necessary for management.
Support Human Resources and other departments (as assigned) by recommending administrative and compliance best practices for project-based tasks.
Performs other duties or responsibilities assigned over the course of employment.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS High School diploma/GED required; associate degree in business related acumen highly desired; bachelor's degree from an accredited university a plus.
Minimum four years' experience in office administration/coordination; two years of which in a Human Resources environment desired Customer-centric with strong organization skills, meticulous, and self-initiates; demonstrates sense of urgency and keen time-management abilities, with the proficiency to prioritize tasks.
Strong computer aptitude inclusive of MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Demonstrable skills in database management and record-keeping Familiar with Human Resources compliance topics at the federal, state, and levels regulations Superior people skills utilizing tact, patience, courtesy, along teamwork.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong business arithmetic skills Infrequent lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Maintain 1) reliable and safe transportation to other Delphon facilities or for business travel, 2) valid State-issued driver's license, 3) proper vehicle registration, and 4) State-required minimum automobile insurance coverage requirement.
