Quality Assurance Engineer needed for a Contract Opportunity with Yoh's client located in Hayward, CA. What You'll Be Doing: - This quality assurance engineer collaborates with the Global Quality
manager
involving strategy and tactics to manage MOC processes including but not limited to Corrective Actions (
cars
), Process Changes (PCs), and customer satisfaction opportunities (known as Form A's). - Team with other QA professionals. - Leads US region cross functional team that generates quarterly Quality report showing progress in Quality improvement and compliant to ISO/TS-16949 requirements. - Responsible for elements of and through others the business and operations QA Metrics reporting. - Provide Quality Assurance support to project teams for continuous improvement projects linked to business, operations and quality. - Manage and control ISO/TS16949:2008 systems as it relates Quality system and associated processes. - Review data trending with operations quality control to understand shifts in product properties, property measurements, and reporting. - Support other QA professionals regarding Inspection and disposition of non-conforming materials when necessary. - When assigned lead product and process investigation for customer complaints. - Support Product Management with customer communication for customer complaints. - Lead in-house teams to address our customer and third party audits. What You Need to Bring to the Table: - Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or minimum Five (5) years working in a Quality environment registered to ISO-9001 or preferred ISO/TS-16949. - Understanding of quality management systems for ISO 9001 or ISO/TS-16949 preferred. - Experience with manufacturing processes, or within the Semiconductor manufacturing value change experience preferred. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. Customer interface experience preferred. - Understand and capable of using Statistics analytics software like MinitabR, jmpR Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred
Qualifications: - Experience with LIMS, and Lotus Notes Data and MOC managing systems/databases a plus. - Familiar with performing root cause failure analysis. - Understanding of statistical calculations and analysis as it relates to process capabilities and process controls. - Understand of product properties, property measurement and reporting and process parameters that influence and/or control product properties. - Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing certification and training preferred. One may obtain certification in role.
