We are a Professional Staffing Company that specializes in the hiring and placement of professional Semi drivers, in the Northern/Central California areas. We are dedicated to provide our customers with exceptional service to meet their Long Term and Temporary staffing needs.
We are looking for a Dispatcher for our Hayward, CA office. Dispatcher duties would include but not limited to, daily dispatch, recruiting, interaction with associates and customers. The right candidate would provide leadership, possess great customer service skills and be able to set and achieve daily, weekly and monthly goals with office staff.
Bi-Lingual in Spanish is REQUIRED
Must live within 20 miles of Hayward, CA
Dispatcher must also be detailed oriented, able to communicate and delegate appropriately, and assume all responsibilities for branch decisions and performance.
Some of the Essential Job Functions are but not limited to:
Outstanding Customer Service
ON-CALL every other week
MUST HAVE A SENSE OF URGENCY
MUST BE ABLE TO MULTI-TASK
D.O.T Compliance
Recruiting
Dispatch Procedures
Safety Procedures and Training
Reporting to Branch Manager
Other Duties as assigned by Branch Manager/Regional Manager
Dispatcher would also be able to communicate with:
Customers - to establish long term relationships, earn trust and ensure highest customer satisfaction.
Staff- to achieve common goals, create positive work environment as to foster positive teamwork attitude within the branch
Associates - to assist and pro-actively secure positions that best suit their strengths, experience, and personal/financial goals.
Minimum Requirements:
College Degree preferred but not required.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
2 years minimum work experience in the transportation or staffing supervisory position
Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Must possess strong communication and relationship building skills
Must be willing to travel as well as attend and host company events
Must be able to manage and assist with the company's on-call program.
