Job Responsibilities:
HSQ Technology is looking for an SCADA Network Engineer with a minimum of 5 years? experience in designing, programming and commissioning networks designed to support a wide variety of infrastructure networks typical of larger SCADA system topologies.
The successful candidate will apply engineering theories, standards and concepts to complete a variety of engineering/project assignments. Provide detailed engineering review of technical drawings and documentation. Develop creative solutions to complex Control Engineering related functions/problems, including developing algorithms for automation and control, industrial LAN/WANs, and networking distributed devices in the most efficient and secure manner.
You will provide mentoring and technical direction for lower level engineers, as well as our customers, and are able to review/support all manners of networked devices. You are familiar with both the configuration and specification of routers, switches and firewalls (not always Cisco), and are familiar with all common Layer 1 transports.
Job Qualifications:
BS/MS in a technical discipline.
Minimum five (5) years of progressive, relevant engineering experience as described below (including experience as a Senior Engineer) or the equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training demonstrating the following skills:
Performing complex work independently, effectively incorporating engineering theories, standards, concepts, and techniques in the area of SCADA systems and their associated communication protocols (specifically HSQ RTU, Ethernet/IP, BACnet/IP, DNP 3.0, Modbus, and many others)
Troubleshooting and repair of networks whether you implemented them or not
Developing creative solutions to complex SCADA related problems to include developing algorithms for automation and control, human machine interfaces (HMI)
for transit, power, water and wastewater installations
Managing multiple complex engineering projects/assignments and ensuring work conforms to project/task requirements
Mentoring engineers and others in a variety of engineering projects/activities
Ongoing knowledge of new equipment, methods and developments in an engineering specialty to include commissioning, evaluating and troubleshooting SCADA and associated equipment.
Evaluating operational performance of SCADA and associated equipment.
Interpreting, creating and checking engineering sketches, LAN/WAN archectures, wiring diagrams, etc.
Experience demonstrating skill using design software (for example, AutoCAD, Microstation, Visio). Ability and willingness to travel to various company locations and work sites.
Preferred:
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical or Controls Engineering.
Cisco Certified in Routing & Switching and/or Security.

Works in an office and job-site enviroments
Frequently sits for long periods of time
Frequently speaks, reads, writes and uses a computer keyboard
May require occasional standing, walking, lifting, stooping or bending.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
