UV Operations Manager
The AWS Ultraviolet Team is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to own and operate the day-to-day work streams for administering COVID-19 testing across multiple test sites.
Project Ultraviolet (UV) is working to ensure the health and safety of AWS employees working essential functions in AWS data centers and critical facilities.
This role will be the single threaded owner of a set of testing sites serving critical Operations employees, working with other program members to deliver the best possible experience for employees.
A successful Operations Manager in this role needs to be able to adjust quickly to updates in process or procedure, manage testing staff and continuously look for improvements to ensure a high quality experience for AWS employees.
Responsibilities will include:
Manage a pool of resources to operate testing locations per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), including shift schedules and clinician support Track and be responsible for inventory of critical supplies Report out weekly operational metrics Conduct Root Cause Analysis on testing defects or any issues impacting employee experience Execute process updates from the core Amazon and AWS program teams at the sites Oversee change management and training of local resources at sites as processes and procedures evolve Ensure all health and safety measures are being performed by site staff and employees Act as the local escalation point for issues relating to the testing locations.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
